Some would answer "you can handle all you can get." Some would say, as many as you can manage. But how do you really know when its all a bit too much? After you've collapsed at 1:34 am to awaken at 5:30 am to start it all over again? Exhausted, depleted, overwhelmed, chronically cranky?
I know you love your business, I know it is your blood, sweat and tears, literally. I also know it is okay, and often necessary to ask for assistance. To take that leap of trust, to hand over some part of it to others. This can be the most difficult part of owning a business, like handing off your baby to strangers. Been there, done that.
In my experience as a yoga teacher I often see when we try to relax, our bodies actually grips tighter, a sensation of falling, twitching, spontaneous muscle flickering, it is all the body's resistance to letting go. Is it safe, will I get hurt? Only one way to find out.
I encourage you to begin to let go, to loosen the grip, to ease those baby steps back from some aspects of your business. We all know what can happen when our muscles grip too tightly, the aches and pains associated with overworking the body. We can help you recover from the crispy sunburn, soothe the aching muscles, juggle the balls, manage your social media and editorial calendar, find peace, and hopefully get some sleep.
